Qumran through (Real) Time by Dr. Robert R. Cargill (Gorgias Press, 2009)
well if jim west likes it, it can’t be too bad, right?
jim has offered a brief review of my book, qumran through (real) time: a virtual reconstruction of qumran and the dead sea scrolls (gorgias press, 2009). jim has, of course, followed the development of this book since it was first taking shape as the qumran visualization project back in 2006, and the ancient qumran: a virtual reality tour on display at the san diego natural history museum in 2007. thus, i trust his criticisms and take his review seriously. thanx jim.
give it a read.

it’s a very fine book and really should help settle the dust recently stirred up by golb’s supporters and sycophants.
Look forward to reading it, Bob. Congrats!
