the apocalypse is near: jim west’s blog is gone.
i sit and stare at my computer in disbelief. the most prolific biblioblogger in the history of, well, biblioblogging is gone?
i am forced to ask: what happened? did he lose a bet? did a cat jump onto his keyboard and hit the delete key (again)? is he tired of doing what he is so good at doing?
and what about us? who will tell us of the utter depravity around us? who will make us laugh? who will make us say, ‘now that just ain’t right?’
and what other ‘sure things’ will disappear? will the sun no longer rise? will mark goodacre no longer speak with a cool accent? oh no! will christian brady shave his beard? nooooo! perish the thought.
jim, you must start a new blog. come back to the digital world, where we can speak face to facebook.
seriously, i’m not kidding around. this is exactly what the terrorists want you to do. you must blog. it’s in your digital blood.
where has my friend gone?
i feel like the people jogging behind forrest at the six-minute mark in this scene:

He’s not gone. He will be back, despite his insistence otherwise. Guaranteed!
that picture rocks! it makes me look like the riddler!
While we feel no ill will towards Dr. West, we are pleased that we will no longer be bothered by his debauched diatribes against cats.

I was so shocked that it was gone. I hope Jim comes back. Everyday , it has become part of my routine to see what he has posted.
I hope all is well with him. Even though I disagreed with him on various occassions, I absolutely love his blog.
