Forty years after Jim Morrison was convicted of exposing himself at a wild Miami concert, this is the end: Florida’s Clemency Board, egged on by departing Gov. Charlie Crist, pardoned The Doors’ long-dead singer Thursday.
That arrest and conviction was the beginning of the end of Morrison’s career. If he had done it today, he’d have gotten a reality show. Love him or hate him, the Doors made great music. So congrats to Mr. Morrison’s family and Doors fans everywhere.
