this is an all points bulletin for ideas and initiatives in the area of instructional technology. here at ucla, the center for digital humanities is always seeking new ideas and new software for use in higher education instruction. if you have ingenious ideas about softwares that could possibly be used for classroom instruction, please leave comments in the comments section below. how do you use technology? what services and softwares do you use? facebook? moodle? ning? sketch up? zotero? endnote?

if you use instructional technology, tell us about it here.

  1. Check out Modo or the new version of Maya… a few of us at the architecture dept. have been using these softwares and each are capable of producing stereoscopic images and animations… ie: put on your 3d glasses and see objects & space with much greater depth & reality (similar to what Pixar and other studios have been doing in their animated films). This seems like it would be the next logical step in your work with the visualization portal if I correctly understand the intent of your previous projects.
