as a rule of thumb, never follow an email link to a login. always always always go to your trusted bookmark or type in the url of the home page of the website when you want to login or change passwords. never follow links form emails asking for login, password, or credit card information. these often link to urls that are off by one letter or appear to be where you want to go, but actually lead to a corrupt website.
